Great Ghanaian Youth Achievers

You can’t believe what some of our great Ghanaian youth are doing and the status they are creating for this country. The list is endless, but i will give you just one gentleman to blow your mind and to challenge you that everything is possible as a youth. His name is Mac-Jordan Degadjor – A Ghanaian Social Blogger, Writer, IT Enthusiast and a Digital Activist, Blogger, Christian, Connector, Idea generator, Social entrepreneur, Technologist andWorld traveler. Anytime i read about this guy on the Internet am inspired! He such a young guy who is just grabbing opportunities, one thing about him is this, he is ever prepared before the opportunities come.  He is currently the organizer for the TEDx Dzorwulu conference at the Accra Regent Hotel. TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with two annual conferences — the TED Conference in Long Beach and Palm Springs each spring, and the TEDGlobal conference in Edinburgh UK each summer — TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open Translation Project and TED Conversations, the inspiring TED Fellows and TEDx programs, and the annual TED Prize. I had an opportunity to see him live and chat with him at barcamp cape coast, Ghana. As part of the organizers i had the privilege to hear him speak and inspire us. He is currently works at Future Challenges and he is the Regional Editor- Africa. Areas of his expertise are Citizen Journalism, ICT Rural Development, ICT 4 Development, Social Media & Digital Activism, Travel Writing, Volunteering & Tutoring. He attended Kharkov national University, Kharkov, Ukraine. He Speaks Russian & Ukrainian. He can also speak 5 other Ghanaian local languages. He has traveled to 5 of the 7 continents. Won 2 blogging awards. One thing he said about blogging is that ” all you need is your computer and your internet then you can start to blog”
